Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed technical review and independent assessment of solar PV electrical engineering design and construction documentation, end-to-end
- Conduct on-site construction monitoring to assess compliance with design drawings and specifications, good construction practice, and adherence to QA/QC programs
- Act as a key stakeholder in meetings and conference calls with lenders, investors, developers, contractors, and engineers regarding electrical engineering technical reviews and construction issues
- Prepare detailed reports of electrical engineering design reviews, project documentation assessments, and construction monitoring
Requirements
- B.S. degree in electrical engineering, with focus on power system engineering
- PE License
- 5+ years of experience in the design, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation facilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex engineering, construction, and operational issues to non-technical folk
- Experience with SKM PowerTools, ETAP, DigSilent, EMTP, or similar power system analysis software
Pay
The salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, plus bonus and benefits.
Schedule
This full-time remote position in the US involves around 25% travel.
