Senior Electrical Engineer

Acts as a senior, advanced engineer of the department, responsible for technical development in a specific engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Project Engineer on complex, single-discipline, and complex multi-discipline projects.
• Serves as lead engineer on projects to coordinate work with other disciplines.
• Assists with proposal development and project documentation including estimating engineering man-hours estimates for scope.
• Coordinates all aspects of project document completion within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
• Reviews work of the project design team.
• Checks the progress of work and alerts the Project Manager to needed changes to the scope or other services.
• Assesses the requirements of a project, breaks a project down into tasks, and works with a Project Manager to determine scope, budget, and staffing for a project.
• Works with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to the building code is required.
• Promotes the use of and participates in the development of company design and production standards.
• Leads the education and development of design staff and acts as a resource for design questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of previous consulting or facilities engineering/design experience required.
• PE License required.
• MUST be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Pay

$115,000-150,000
