Who We Are Looking For
Pheonix Tailings is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop and validate electrical systems powering the next generation of clean metals production. The ideal candidate will lead the design, testing, and deployment of electrical power and instrumentation systems supporting new processing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, testing, and lifecycle validation of electrical power components used in critical metals processing systems.
- Develop electrical architectures and calculations to demonstrate and validate new electrical apparatus and system solutions.
- Design and implement instrumentation and electrical measurement systems to support process development and system validation.
- Create strategic engineering plans to design, build, test, and prove new electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Translate early-stage concepts and rough requirements into complete electrical engineering projects and system designs.
- Lead hands-on electrical system builds, commissioning, and troubleshooting during equipment development and deployment.
- Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation to support fabrication, installation, and operation.
- Coach and support early-career engineers in electrical design, testing, and practical engineering execution.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial systems, power systems, or process equipment environments.
- Strong experience with electrical power systems, system sizing, and engineering calculations.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing electrical equipment and control systems.
- Experience working with industrial instrumentation and measurement devices.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
- Ability to translate high-level technical needs into structured engineering designs and implementation plans.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
