Key Responsibilities
- Supports daily electrical project management
- Client interface
- Electrical conceptual and detailed designs
- Methods and materials specifications
- Electrical equipment application
- NEC compliance
- Building code compliance
- Feasibility studies
- Adherence to budgets and schedules
- Cost estimating
- Field survey
- Construction administration
- Support for procurement and construction activities
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field, with a PE
- Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software such as Inventor, and or Revit, and MS office
- Proficiency with electrical analysis software such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP
- Previous experience with electrical power distribution, grounding, motor control, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems is preferred
- Some travel may be required from time to time, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites
- Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
- Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision
- A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required
- Preferred skills include experience with industrial power distribution and building systems, motor controls, control systems and grounding, previous heavy industrial experience, and experience working on multidisciplinary design and construction projects
