Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversight on some of the most advanced industrial facilities in the world. Responsibilities

• Engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, and lighting
• Occasional retrofit of existing building systems
• Prepare technical specifications and construction documents, ensuring alignment between drawings and specifications
• Contribute directly to the most challenging aspects of the design process
• Lead project teams and perform quality reviews of design packages
• Interact directly with clients, owners, and contractors, supporting construction activities on-site and participating in proposals to identify solutions to problems clients didn’t even know they had
• Recommend best practices, improve processes, and lead functional teams
• Work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations, and serve as a trusted resource for quality and innovation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 10 years of engineering experience with building electrical systems
• Electrical design experience for semiconductor facilities
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
• Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
• Experience with power system software, preferably ETAPE
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Team lead experience
• Senior technical leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

• Geographical flexibility within the U.S., with a strong preference for candidates residing in Tempe, AZ, Moon Township, PA, or Portland, OR
• Qualified candidates can be considered for remote work
