Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Lead field evaluations of new and existing electrical power distribution systems, analyze and design for new or rehabilitated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead field and technical evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems
• Manage the development of calculations, repair drawings, and repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages
• Interface with clients and contractors, attend meetings, and oversee written reports
• Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnover projects
• Manage constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
• Focus on power distribution (medium and low voltage) for industrial plants

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 14 years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience mentoring and leading teams
• Physical mobility (on the ground and at heights)
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms/scaffolding with appropriate fall protection
• Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, steel-toed work boots)
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Compliance with client-specific site requirements, including random drug testing and facial hair safety policies

• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes
• Arc Flash expertise

Pay

$140,000 - $185,000 annually. The pay range represents a general guideline; base salary is determined by factors such as depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or other incentive compensation plans.
