BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
- MSEE is a plus.
- 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong digital and analog design skills
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with designing embedded systems (microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.)
- Preferred experience with motor/motion control systems
- Experience with working with various sensor technologies (gyros, cameras, microphones)
- Experience with low speed bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, etc.
- Experience with high speed protocols such as PCIe, USB, MIPI is preferred.
- Experience with GigE, GMSL, LWIR, LRF or LIDAR is a plus
- Experience with RF designs is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author subsystem/system requirements and specifications, document design files and test criteria/plan for system and modules and support system validation.
- Design complex high density, multi-layer (10+ layers) PCBAs using Altium schematic and layout tools.
- Perform prototyping and bring-up of new design(s).
