Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Victor, NY. This role focuses on the development of advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) technologies, specifically in the design, development, and testing of digital, analog, and RF circuits for ASW receiver systems, including sonobuoy receivers and signal processing electronics. Responsibilities Design and develop electronic circuits and systems (digital, analog, RF).Conduct system-level trade-offs, risk assessments, and design reviews.Test and debug prototype hardware to ensure functionality and performance.Produce comprehensive technical documentation and present findings at design reviews.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware into ASW systems.Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.Travel occasionally to support project needs and collaboration efforts. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Over 5 years of experience in hardware design.Proficiency in analog, digital, and RF design and signal processing.Experience with CAD tools such as Altium and LTspice.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience guiding PCB layout and collaborating with ECAD teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in PCB design and hardware design.Knowledge of FPGA, circuit design, and embedded systems.Proficiency in MATLAB for signal processing and simulation tasks. Work Environment This role is based in a collaborative environment where engineers work closely together to innovate and enhance ASW systems. The work involves using cutting-edge technologies and tools such as Altium and LTspice.
