About the Role

Join a team of Electrical Engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers’ Orange County office. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer with a minimum of seven years of experience to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. The successful candidate will have solid experience designing large and small commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, education, federal, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee analysis and design on a variety of commercial and institutional building projects.
• Collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors to provide well-coordinated, high-quality electrical drawings.
• Participate with a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute electrical designs.
• Interface with contractors during construction to ensure positive results with minimal complications.
• Work closely with the Discipline Manager and assist in design and drawing production.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with building power distribution design.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• California Electrical Engineering License.
• Experience with DSA and HCAi projects.
• Experience with California projects and codes.
• Experience with Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code.
• Experience with SKM and/or ETAP software.

Pay

Expected annual salary of $90,000 - $120,000.
