About the role
This position is responsible for the electrical design including schematic design, writing new PLC and HMI programs, and the startup and troubleshooting of custom web converting and coating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications of controls and systems including PLC and HMI development
- Provide support and field questions during the manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing processes
- Perform operation, software maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations
- Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering and industrial controls
- Operate independently or part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. Adapt rapidly to changes in project scope and operations workload demand.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, System, Controls or similar
- Experience: 8+ years of experience with industrial controls in a project-based automation or machine design environment
- Skills: PLC programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens or Yaskawa, Motion control programming of rotary and linear servo axes, HMI Development: Visual Basic.NET, C#, Factory Talk, Machine Vision application development for inspection with Cognex, Keyence or similar platforms, Competent in the use of Auto-Cad Electrical, Design electrical panels to meet UL 508A and electrical systems to meet NEC/IEC/CEC standards

Salary Range
$75,000 - $130,000 per year (DOE - Depending on Experience)
