Skill Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in electrical construction estimating
- Demonstrated experience preparing detailed estimates for projects with contract values of $15 Million or more
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction materials, labor productivity, installation methods, and construction sequencing
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to manage multiple estimates and competing deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with estimating software such as Accubid Anywhere and Bluebeam
- Experience with digital takeoff tools
- Experience with Design-Assist
- Experience estimating projects with contract values of $40 million or more
- Electrical contractor or field installation experience
Physical And Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to work for extended periods at a computer reviewing plans, specifications, and estimating documents
- Ability to attend construction sites, project meetings, and pre-bid site walks as required
- Ability to navigate active construction sites while following all applicable safety requirements
