About the role
The Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems in data centers are installed and commissioned according to design specifications and industry standards. This includes performing detailed inspections, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of electrical systems during installation and commissioning phases
- Coordinate with contractors and other engineering disciplines to resolve system integration issues
- Develop and maintain procedures for electrical system testing and inspection
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on electrical commissioning best practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning and/or data center engineering
- Proficiency in electrical systems design and commissioning
- Experience with data center infrastructure and operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Knowledge of data center industry standards and best practices
- Experience with commissioning tools and software
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 40 hours per week, split between remote and office work
