Senior EHR Integration Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a Senior EHR Integration Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will focus on building and supporting secure, production-ready healthcare integrations that enable clinical and administrative data exchange. You will lead work across internal technical teams and external EHR environments to deliver interoperable solutions that support provider workflows and operational needs. The position requires deep experience with SMART on FHIR, API-based integration, and healthcare data standards in a highly regulated environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Design and implement production integrations with external EHR systems Lead integration of SMART on FHIR applications into EHR workflows Develop FHIR R4 integrations for clinical and administrative data exchange Create reusable integration architectures using FHIR and HL7 standards Establish security and operational standards for integration processes Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering or integration engineering 5+ years of hands-on experience with SMART on FHIR integrations in production environments Proficiency in integrating applications with external EHR systems, particularly Epic Strong coding skills supporting APIs and interoperability solutions Experience with FHIR R4, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect Benefits Comprehensive health and wellness programs Retirement savings plans with company match Paid time off and flexible work arrangements Professional development and training opportunities Employee assistance programs and mental health resources Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
