About the role

At CNBC, we are seeking an experienced financial media editor to enhance the work of CNBC investing contributors. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong editorial skills, a deep understanding of investing trends, and the ability to produce high-quality content quickly.

Responsibilities

• Edit rough copy to create well-written pieces with appropriate context.
• Ensure content is engaging and informative, covering current investing trends and stock market movements.
• Manage a section of the website, ensuring consistent and fresh content is published daily.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial editing experience at a major publication.
• Experience working in a fast-paced digital newsroom.
• A passion for investing and staying updated on Wall Street trends.
• Strong journalistic writing and research skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000, with bonus eligibility.

Full-time position located at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
