Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst with demonstrated expertise in EDI B2B integration projects.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for development teams through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead the development of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Use Cases, User Stories, and other essential BA artifacts.
- Create comprehensive specification and mapping documents tailored to various Trading Partner specifications and workflows.
- Manage the full lifecycle of B2B/EDI integration initiatives—from requirement gathering through project closure.
- Analyze, document, and maintain business requirements related to EDI workflows, transaction sets, and partner integrations.
- Demonstrate extensive experience across project phases including planning, analysis, implementation, and testing.
Technical Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and common transaction sets.
- Practical experience in various EDI transaction types such as 850, 852, 875, 860, 945, 940, 861, 864, 832, 824, 812, 810, 856, 214, 210, and 997.
- Familiarity with different workflows such as Order-to-Cash (OTC), Invoice-to-Cash (I2C), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), Demand-to-Deliver (D2D), and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as IBM Sterling, MuleSoft, Boomi, Seeburger, and Axway.
- Understanding of API integrations and hybrid EDI/API models is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, and HTTPS.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology or Computer Applications (B. Tech/BE/M. Tech/MCA/M.Sc.).
- 12–16 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 7+ years in an EDI Analyst role combined with Business Analysis responsibilities.
