About the role
The Senior eCommerce Analyst will drive the SEO strategy for Tommy.com, identifying opportunities to boost organic search and enhance site performance. This role involves analyzing trends, reporting on site and traffic KPIs, and supporting ongoing optimization initiatives to meet conversion and traffic goals. Additionally, the analyst will evaluate and optimize key marketing initiatives on tommy.com. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, this role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Media, and DigiOps. The ideal candidate is a detailed and strategic thinker, capable of working independently while contributing to team efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage 3rd party agencies to analyze and prioritize SEO recommendations; work with internal cross-functional partners to implement solutions.
- Serve as the main liaison to Performance Marketing to ensure organic and paid search strategies complement each other.
- Collaborate with marketing to find wins and opportunities between channel traffic and site destinations to drive qualified traffic.
- Evaluate marketing initiatives on site, including seasonal campaigns, brand partnerships, Fashion Week, and special capsules or collaborations.
- Liaison with global teams to ensure cohesiveness and efficiencies in SEO content and copy, especially with key marketing launches.
- Work with Merchandising to understand must-win categories to own in the digital marketplace.
- Analyze website performance, user behavior, and SEO metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
- Partner with marketing channel owners to optimize tactics and refine segmentation, including channel-specific offers or experiences.
- Monitor Bounce Rates and work with Marketing on optimization areas, including Page Speed improvements.
- Assist with traffic projections to align with growth plans and trends.
- Conduct ad-hoc traffic analysis to maximize efforts.
- Help Tommy.com stay competitive with efforts tied to GEO and AI Search opportunities.
- Multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, collaborating with appropriate team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in an e-commerce optimization and/or project management function.
- SEO experience, either at an agency or in-house.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Decibel, Optimizely, Content Square, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, SEMRush, or other SEO tools.
- Understanding of key industry metrics and best practices.
- Forward-thinking and anticipatory, with the ability to make educated decisions quickly based on experience and business knowledge.
- Ability to display logic and strategy behind decision reasoning when challenges arise.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects independently with adherence to deadlines.
- Flexible and solution-oriented with a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and matrixed environment.
Pay
$76,300–$103,100 per year. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant skills.
