About the role

Under the general supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Supervisor, performs Echocardiographic procedures, assists physicians as required and does related work as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Echocardiographic procedures
  • Aids physicians as required
  • Does related work as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program for Echocardiography or Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience as a clinical technologist or 2 years as a registered technologist

Skills

  • Knowledge of Echocardiography techniques and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, Day Shift, 40 working hours
