Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server, along with hands-on experience in ASP.NET MVC Razor, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS. Strong experience designing and developing microservices, service-oriented architectures, and RESTful APIs using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, with a solid understanding of microservices patterns and best practices. Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing. Experience with Oracle and Couchbase is an asset. Experience developing and maintaining responsive web applications using ASP.NET MVC Razor Views, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS. Experience leading or mentoring development teams and coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including tools such as GitHub, Harness, and Tekton for source control, building automation, deployment pipelines, and release management. Experience managing SDLC processes, compliance artifacts, code promotions, release management, and repository governance in enterprise environments. Strong experience in unit testing using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest to ensure application quality and maintainability. Exposure to containerization technologies and OpenShift for application deployment and scalability. Knowledge of AI-powered developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, and similar AI-assisted development solutions. Experience leveraging these tools to support software development activities is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Strong coding and problem-solving abilities with the capability. Roles & Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage a team of up to 5+ developers, overseeing task assignments, delivery timelines, and individual performance in coordination with the Technology Project Manager. Participate in grooming sessions and collaborate with business partners, architects, and analysts to translate requirements into well-defined user stories, provide technical estimates, and align on delivery priorities and timelines. Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, including microservices, RESTful APIs, and automated workflows that integrate across APIs, databases, and application UIs. Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using .NET Core MVC, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS, following enterprise UI standards and accessibility best practices. Design and maintain scalable database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and data access solutions across relational and NoSQL platforms. Champion CI/CD and DevOps best practices, leveraging automation and tooling to continuously improve build, test, and deployment processes. Support UAT and production activities by resolving defects, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring application quality, stability, and timely delivery. Manage code promotion activities, maintain SDLC compliance artifacts, enforce repository hygiene, and ensure adherence to development standards and contribution metrics. Track project billing hours and maintain project financials, ensuring accurate and timely reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
