Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
- Develop microservices and distributed applications where applicable.
- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
- Ensure API security using authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and Identity.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases.
- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Work with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core for data access.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing components.
- Develop web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core MVC, or Blazor.
- Work with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React when required.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Identify and resolve application defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Deploy applications to Azure, AWS, or on-premises environments.
- Maintain version control using Git.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming.
- Experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
- Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
- Experience building microservices.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with Redis or distributed caching.
- Experience with Blazor.
- Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.
- Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
