Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Develop microservices and distributed applications where applicable.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure API security using authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and Identity.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases.
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Work with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core for data access.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing components.
  • Develop web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core MVC, or Blazor.
  • Work with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React when required.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and resolve application defects and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability standards.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Deploy applications to Azure, AWS, or on-premises environments.
  • Maintain version control using Git.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in C# programming.
  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience developing REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
  • Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Experience building microservices.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.
  • Familiarity with Redis or distributed caching.
  • Experience with Blazor.
  • Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
