About the role
The California High-Speed Rail Program is seeking a Senior Document Controller in Sacramento to lead their enterprise-wide document management operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a system administrator and power user for the Document Control System, managing configurations and troubleshooting.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and user guides to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Review submittals for accuracy and ensure all documentation is audit-ready and compliant with regulatory obligations.
- Mentor Document Controllers and project teams, providing guidance and technical support.
Requirements
- Expertise in document management standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and enterprise-level management platforms.
- Strong communication skills to draft training materials and present performance briefings to program leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale transportation or public-sector programs.
- Professional certifications such as CRM or CDIA+ are preferred.
