Job Description: Job Title: Senior Director, Therapeutic Strategy Lead (TSL) Job Location: United States – Remote Specialty: This role will support Caidya's strategic initiatives within the oncology therapeutic area. Job Overview: The Senior Director, Therapeutic Strategy Lead (TSL) is a senior-level clinical research and business development expert responsible for developing therapeutic and delivery strategies for clinical studies and drug development programs. For this specific hiring need, the role will primarily support oncology studies and programs. The TSL serves as a therapeutic consultant to clients and internal teams, providing cross-functional leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic support for client relationships and business growth. The role partners with key internal and external stakeholders to support successful clinical development and Caidya’s continued growth. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Business Development (BD) Support: Collaborate closely with BD on potential new opportunities and act as a therapeutic consultant during early engagement, lead all Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and budget strategy, bid defense meetings (BDMs), and client presentations to help secure new business, assist in the identification of new clients, and ensure all deliverables position Caidya favorablyCross-Functional Leadership: Partner with clinical operations, medical affairs, biostatistics, and sales teams to build integrated, end-to-end customer solutionsStudy Design and Innovation: Provide expert input on protocol design, site feasibility, patient-centric approaches, and modern clinical techniquesIndustry Expertise: Monitor regulatory updates, standards of care, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) relevant to the drug development lifecycle in the assigned therapeutic area(s)Participate in the planning for and attendance at industry conferences, scientific meetings, and other thought leadership opportunitiesProvide executive oversight and lead assigned client governance activitiesProactively identify and contribute to the management of issues at the study and portfolio levelsContribute to contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful deliverySupport operational excellence by identifying best practices, participating in Project Review Meetings, and making recommendations to senior managementContribute to and lead Caidya internal strategies to drive new business and strengthen client relationships Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities Job Requirements: Education Bachelor’s degree in science or a health-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMaster’s degree or higher (e.g., MS, MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred Experience 10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years of CRO experienceStrong background in clinical research with commercial and operational expertiseTherapeutic expertise in one or more of Caidya’s core therapeutic areas Skills/Competencies Leadership: Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction, communicate a vision, inspire teams, and drive resultsTherapeutic Knowledge: Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle in one or more therapeutic areas of focus for CaidyaStrategic Thinking: Ability to assess business needs, develop solutions, manage risk, implement programs, and execute initiatives effectivelyCommunication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersIntegrity: Demonstrates sound judgment, ethical business practices, and accountabilityResults Orientation: Solution-oriented and self-directed, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on driving execution and resultsOrganizational Effectiveness: Strong management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives Capabilities Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skillsExtensive therapeutic experienceStrong technical capacity and computer skillsAbility to travel as needed
