About the role
The Senior Director, Strategy – Brand & Creative leads the Brand Strategy discipline within a highly collaborative, AI-forward agency. They are responsible for developing foundational brand strategy, architecture, and positioning for a tech giant across its full product portfolio, ensuring consistency, clarity, and relevance globally.
Responsibilities
Lead development of global brand positioning for a tech giant, maintaining brand consistency across São Paulo, Seoul, and San Francisco.
Drive strategic vision for high-stakes creative campaigns, including Super Bowl spots, Olympics moments, global product launches, and major repositionings.
Be the creative partner to Group Creative Directors, writing provocative and inspiring briefs and staying deeply engaged throughout the creative process.
Build and maintain a global brand platform that goes beyond campaigns to the core ideas they represent.
Partner with media, data, and AI teams to ensure the brand platform translates into a full-funnel consumer experience.
Requirements
12+ years in Brand Planning or Creative Strategy at a top agency, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Experience working on major global brands and campaigns that have run worldwide.
Direct experience on high-profile, high-stakes campaigns such as Super Bowl, Olympics, global product launches, or equivalent moments where the whole world is watching.
Track record of building and leading high-performing strategy teams.
Ability to take complex data and research and turn it into compelling ideas that inspire creative teams.
Experience in building and growing a modern Brand Strategy practice.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role varies by geographic location. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, interview assessment, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
Schedule
This role is subject to Monks' Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.
