Senior Director, Strategic Pricing

About the role

The role will work directly with the Senior Vice President Finance and will own the company's deal underwriting model, utilized in the review of new sales opportunities and retention of existing customers. This role requires direct, daily interaction with the Sales organization and other operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support the underwriting model, including rapid revisions, AS-SOLD models based on signed contracts, and participation in Weekly Sales Handoff meetings.
• Create and manage the underwriting model process guidebook to ensure all teams follow appropriate processes and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with C-Suite partners and financial sponsors, both daily and periodically.
• Prepare, analyze, and support contract renewals and amendments from inception to customer signature.
• Work cross-functionally to meet tight deadlines and across various levels to achieve results.
• Support the annual budget and monthly forecasts as needed.
• Review and approve monthly bulk rate increases.
• Provide ongoing financial analysis, focusing on revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and overall profitability.
• Analyze and evaluate operational performance metrics to ensure goal alignment and focus on strategic objectives.
• Assist in preparing the Monthly Operating Reporting package as needed.
• Develop financial models to explore new opportunities.
• Update Circuit Costs budgets and forecasts as needed.
• Monthly updates and outputs to Consolidated PL, including latest sales/dates/build multiples, backlog list, pipeline trends, graphical presentation of ARPU by business segment, and Commercial connects/disconnects.
• Track and forecast Bulk and Right of Entry project go-live dates and impacts to company's performance.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Experience working closely with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive improved financial performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required
• MBA is a plus
• Previous experience in financial planning & analysis or pricing/business underwriting preferred
• Six to ten years or more of relevant experience required
• Certifications in Finance and modeling a plus
