Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in the development of Visa Issuing Solutions products
  • Deliver high-quality products and features, managing the process from idea to final delivery, including design, development, testing, and release deployment
  • Timely delivery of assigned modules within an agile team setting
  • Accurately scope efforts, identify risks, and communicate trade-offs with team members and stakeholders
  • Cook up and participate in Continuous Integration activities
  • Communicate status updates, issues, and potential risks promptly and accurately
  • Perform tasks related to data governance and system infrastructure as required

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred Qualifications: 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in leading software engineering teams in the development and delivery of complex applications
  • Experience in managing end-to-end product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Experience in agile methodologies and continuous integration practices
  • Experience in risk assessment, effort scoping, and stakeholder communication
  • Experience in automation frameworks and core product code contribution
  • Experience in driving innovation and adaptability within engineering teams
  • Experience in post-deployment support and release management
  • Experience in data governance and system infrastructure
  • Experience in communicating technical status and risks to diverse stakeholders

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $194,700.00 to $ 340,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements
