Senior Director, Sales

About the role
We are seeking an exceptional sales leader to oversee one of Nexxen's most strategic agency and brand partnerships, specifically Publicis Groupe, one of our largest and most important relationships. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Sales, this role involves leading a team of Strategic Account Executives and shaping commercial strategy, influencing executive relationships, solving complex business challenges, and advancing key business initiatives.
Responsibilities
Own Nexxen's Publicis Partnership for the East Region
Leverage an established network to generate new opportunities, expand agency access, and accelerate revenue growth.
Develop multi-year account strategies that identify whitespace, unlock new buying centers, deepen executive relationships, and expand strategic partnerships.
Lead a High-Performing Sales Team
Establish account plans, whitespace strategies, pipeline priorities, and executive engagement plans that position the business for sustained growth.
Hold sellers accountable across the full sales process, including strategic account planning, relationship development, prospecting, pipeline creation, new business acquisition, account expansion, and forecasting.
Coach complex deal strategy, executive engagement, negotiations, and multi-product solution selling while driving rigorous business reviews focused on pipeline health, forecasting, seller effectiveness, and revenue growth.
Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive Strategic Revenue Growth
Lead complex enterprise sales opportunities from prospecting through long-term partnership expansion.
Drive adoption of Nexxen's full suite of solutions, including Managed Service, PMPs, Self-Serve DSP, Hybrid, CTV, OLV, Display, Native, data, identity, measurement, and AI-powered capabilities.
Consistently deliver predictable revenue growth through disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and execution against quarterly and annual goals.
Stay ahead of emerging industry trends—including AI, identity, retail media, CTV, and programmatic innovation—and translate them into strategic client conversations.
Serve as a Senior Commercial Leader
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, Agency Development, Marketing, Operations, and Data to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Represent Nexxen with executive clients, at industry events, and through thought leadership opportunities.
Lead beyond your own portfolio by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, identifying new opportunities, challenging conventional thinking, and driving initiatives that strengthen the broader Commercial organization.
Requirements
10+ years of success in digital advertising, ad tech, or programmatic sales, including 5+ years leading high-performing sales teams.
Established executive relationships across Publicis Groupe and its agencies, with the credibility to build and expand strategic partnerships.
Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, CTV, OLV, Display, PMPs, audience targeting, identity, data, measurement, and AI-enabled advertising.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise sales organizations while consistently exceeding revenue goals through new business acquisition and strategic account expansion.
Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed agency organizations, influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, build consensus, and expand relationships across buying centers.
Strong sales leadership capabilities, including pipeline management, forecasting, coaching, account planning, territory strategy, and performance management.
Proven ability to develop sellers into high-performing strategic consultants while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond individual accounts and contribute to broader commercial priorities.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence across functions, and lead effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Pay
The specific programs and options available will vary depending on the state, start date, and employment type. The minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 at the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.
