This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Revenue Accounting organization, developing a high-performing team
  • Own accounting for all revenue streams, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
  • Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to evaluate new products and partnerships
  • Serve as subject matter expert on revenue recognition for leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation in revenue accounting processes
  • Identify and implement AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
  • Experience in revenue accounting under ASC 606
  • Public company experience with SEC reporting requirements
  • Experience leading large accounting organizations and developing high-performing teams through growth and change
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales, and leadership
  • Experience managing complex accounting issues with multiple products and evolving business models
  • Strong track record of driving process transformation through automation and AI

Pay

$224,000 – $358,000 annually
