Responsibilities
- Lead workforce planning and scheduling for a rolling 12-month period, focused on seasonal demands
- Manage monthly and quarterly capacity planning to align staffing with forecasted demand
- Analyze trends in utilization and availability to inform staffing decisions
- Collaborate with partners and leaders to balance workloads during peak periods
- Identify staffing gaps and recommend practical solutions proactively
- Monitor and adjust staffing plans based on changing client demands
- Oversee and improve workforce management and scheduling tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- CPA certification or experience in a CPA-led professional services firm strongly preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, or scheduling, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing seasonal workforce cycles, particularly during Tax and Assurance busy seasons
- Strong analytical skills to convert workforce data into actionable decisions
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders in a deadline-oriented environment
- Hands-on experience with workforce management, scheduling, or capacity planning systems
Pay
$225,000 – $300,000 annually
