Senior Director, Product Management, Engineering 360

About the role

Product Management at Capital One is a dynamic field focused on reimagining the status quo, identifying value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. The role involves leading the Engineering 360 team to optimize Capital One’s Card developer experience, automating tasks while ensuring applications are well-managed. The ideal candidate will lead the vision for the Card Business, inspire and lead their team, and drive a continuous discovery process.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution of the vision for Capital One’s Card Business
• Lead the Engineering 360 team to optimize the developer experience and ensure applications are well-managed
• Create tooling and best practices to improve code delivery and application management
• Work with leaders across the company to identify and utilize shared services, freeing up time for high-value work
• Drive a continuous discovery process that enhances user adoption through outcome orientation and empowerment
• Accelerate innovation and engineer enablement for the Card business and its customers

Requirements

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products
• Proficiency in human-centered design, business-focused outcomes, technology-driven solutions, integrated problem-solving, and transformational leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• 7+ years of Product Management experience

Skills

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle

Salaries for this role vary by location:

• Mclean, VA: $269,600 - $307,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
• New York, NY: $294,100 - $335,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
• Richmond, VA: $245,100 - $279,800 for Sr. Dir, Product Management

This role is full-time.
