Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action, tech meets trust, and innovation is a way of life. We're looking for Trailblazers passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and upholding Salesforce's core values.

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-minded Senior Director of Product Management with a strong builder mindset to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our core platform infrastructure. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of product managers responsible for building the runtime platform for HyperForce—our AI-First, next-generation, multi-substrate foundation for Salesforce. As a pivotal leader in our Engineering & Infrastructure organization, you will bridge the gap between industry direction, complex platform capabilities, internal engineering teams, and customer-facing experiences. You will define how Hyperforce powers both internal Salesforce operations and external customer-facing products, including serving as the foundational platform layer for our Enterprise AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the end-to-end product strategy for our core infrastructure platform, aligning platform capabilities with broader organizational and AI initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional internal engineering, operations, and product teams to streamline onboarding and migration onto Hyperforce.
  • Drive the HyperForce multi-substrate roadmap, engaging with customer and partner stakeholders to deliver on the multi-substrate HyperForce vision.
  • Ensure our platform architecture reliably supports high-scale, next-gen AI workloads and data services across the enterprise.
  • Directly manage, hire, and develop a team of 3–5 Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, operational excellence, and user-centric platform design.
  • Act as the primary liaison between infrastructure engineering, internal partner teams, and business executives to ensure seamless cross-team integration.
  • Establish KPIs, platform adoption metrics, and reliability benchmarks to measure product performance and velocity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Product Management with a proven track record in a senior product leadership role within Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Enterprise Architecture, or Developer Platforms.
  • Experience directly managing and growing teams of 3–5+ Product Managers.
  • Deep technical domain knowledge in cloud-native platform migrations, enterprise scale, multi-tenant architectures, and developer ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale internal alignment and migration efforts across matrixed engineering organizations.
  • Familiarity with hosting, scaling, or enabling AI/ML workloads on cloud infrastructure.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex, low-level technical infrastructure concepts into clear strategic visions for executives and internal partners.

Benefits

Salesforce offers a variety of benefits to help you live well, including:

  • Time off programs
  • Medical, dental, vision, and mental health support
  • Paid parental leave
  • Life and disability insurance
  • 401(k) and an employee stock purchasing program
