You will collaborate across the finance organization and with key business leaders to drive process improvement, strategic decisions and enhance Axon’s forecasting and analysis capabilities. Location
Hybrid presence based near the following US hubs: Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, or Scottsdale. This role follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Responsibilities
- Apply business and financial acumen to support various levels of operational and financial decision-makers with data, analysis, metrics, process creation/improvement, and operating model alignment.
- Support product roadmap prioritization based on profit contribution and engineering resource constraints in close partnership with engineering and product leads.
- Model new product design iterations and develop the business case for new products and features based on product-market fit and expected cost reduction.
- Drive regular cost reduction, headcount, and budget reviews to ensure alignment to the company plan and product strategy.
- Support the corporate forecasting process for R&D/product spend and present results to R&D leaders. Regularly participate in corporate FP&A meetings such as executive corporate forecast reviews and budget vs. actuals reviews.
- Support the company-wide Strategic Portfolio Planning Process by assisting in the creation of investment business cases for new products and strategic initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally and gain full P&L exposure.
- Support product teams in their holistic analysis of market and P&L performance for key product segments and contribute with data, KPIs, and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics in a dynamic environment, supporting both financial and operational decision-makers.
- Proven track record of owning projects and driving their completion cross-functionally.
- Experience driving process improvements focused on quality, timeliness, and improved efficiency.
- Ability to work independently with concern for quality and deadlines.
- Data analysis and dynamic scenario modeling with emphasis on researching and validating modeling inputs and assumptions, ensuring alignment with operational models and strategic goals.
- Technology/software/SaaS industry experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial business leaders.
- Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Pay
Base pay range: $205,875 USD - $329,400 USD.
Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
