About the role
The Senior Director of Performance Marketing Operations, O&O Lead Generation, is responsible for leading the operational execution of pay-per-call, pay-per-lead, and CPA marketing programs. This role works closely with the Head of O&O to translate business strategy into scalable execution across the customer acquisition engine.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Lead operational execution across all Owned & Operated pay-for-performance marketing programs. Translate executive priorities into scalable operational plans and measurable business outcomes.
- Performance Marketing Operations: Oversee execution across outbound dialing, direct mail, digital media, affiliate marketing, and other customer acquisition channels. Ensure programs launch accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Analytics, Reporting & Optimization: Own the operational reporting framework supporting executive decision making. Establish KPIs, dashboards, forecasting, and operational performance reporting. Monitor lead quality, revenue performance, conversion rates, profitability, ROI, and operational efficiency. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for executive leadership. Drive continuous optimization across acquisition channels through data-driven decision making.
- Systems, Tracking & Infrastructure: Oversee tracking architecture, attribution, QA processes, and reporting infrastructure. Ensure accurate measurement from traffic source through lead generation, conversion, and revenue. Partner with development and technology teams to improve system capabilities and operational scalability. Champion automation and process improvements that reduce manual work while improving accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the operational partner to executive leadership across Product, Technology, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple internal teams and external partners. Ensure organizational alignment around priorities, timelines, and business objectives. Build strong operational discipline across the organization while fostering collaboration and accountability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive performance marketing experience, including significant experience in an Owned & Operated (O&O) lead generation environment supporting pay-for-performance customer acquisition programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Deep understanding of pay-per-call, pay-per-lead, CPA, affiliate marketing, and direct-response business models.
- Strong understanding of operational metrics including CPL, RPC, conversion rates, ROI, profitability, customer acquisition costs, and lead quality.
- Advanced analytical skills with exceptional proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
Qualifications
- Experience scaling high-growth performance marketing organizations.
- Knowledge of AI-powered call center or voice agent programs.
- Familiarity with insurance marketing or other regulated industries.
- Strong analytical mindset with P&L ownership and performance reporting experience.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.

- Compensation: $135,000.00-$150,000.00/year + 10% bonus
