This role serves as the strategic HR partner to The McDonald's Division (TMD) and selected Customer & Commercial teams, focusing on accelerating customer growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving commercial performance across global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into talent, leadership, and workforce strategies.
    • Align organizational capability, talent, and workforce planning with growth objectives and commercial priorities.
    • Provide coaching and consultation on organizational effectiveness, leadership, culture, and transformation.
  • Organization Effectiveness & Transformation
    • Lead workforce planning, organization design, and operating model initiatives that improve agility, scalability, and performance.
    • Drive organizational transformation, including structural, capability, and ways-of-working changes.
    • Assess organizational health and implement solutions that enhance engagement and execution.
  • Talent & Leadership Development
    • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and capability-building strategies.
    • Identify future-critical capabilities and develop plans to strengthen leadership and organizational readiness.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Culture, Change & Employee Experience
    • Coach leaders through growth and transformation while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
    • Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, team effectiveness, leadership alignment, and the associate experience.
    • Champion accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Employee Relations & Enterprise Leadership
    • Partner with leaders, Employee Relations, and Legal to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant people practices.
    • Lead or support enterprise People & Culture initiatives and collaborate across the HR function to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner leadership supporting senior executives.
  • Experience supporting commercial, customer-facing, marketing, sales, supply chain, digital, or related business functions.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into talent and organization solutions that drive results.
  • Strong experience in organizational design, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.
  • Experience supporting global teams within highly matrixed organizations.
  • Consumer packaged goods, retail, restaurant, hospitality, beverage, or related industry experience preferred.

Pay

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The influencing pay range for this role in the United States of America is 170,000 USD - 193,000 USD.

Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role, set at 30% of the pay range midpoint, indicating performance at target.

Long-term Incentive reference value ranges from 0% to 20% of the pay range.

  • Travel required: 26% - 50%.
