Senior Director, People

About the role

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a Technical Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and adapt the company’s organizational structure to support growth
• Act as a business partner to functional leaders, enhancing team performance and decision-making
• Create scalable operating systems and processes that streamline execution
• Maintain the company’s culture and performance standards throughout the employee lifecycle
• Strategically partner with the CEO, CTO, and executives on key organizational decisions
• Lead operational initiatives to reduce friction and enhance executive focus on critical tasks
• Coach managers to develop into effective leaders, ensuring strong management across the company
• Elevate talent standards through improved hiring practices and performance management

Qualifications

• Experience with People functions in a high-growth B2B software environment, ideally with 200+ employees
• Proven track record of scaling organizations through diverse growth phases
• Expertise in organizational design, executive coaching, and talent strategy
• History of building high-performing teams and nurturing leadership skills
• Strong operational mindset with a focus on systems and metrics for scalability
• Collaboration experience with founders or executive teams on strategic decisions
• Ability to balance employee outcomes with business performance

Pay

$150,000 – $180,000 annually
