About the role

The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for defining, developing, delivering, and measuring the recruitment strategy across Duke University Health System. This strategy involves addressing the existing organizational demand while proactively collaborating on workforce planning and future health system growth. This position will directly lead and develop a team of Assistant Directors while supporting a large-scale team of recruiters and sourcers. This role will collaborate with senior-level stakeholders across DUHS to develop new strategies to attract and retain key talent.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning: design, develop, and implement tactical direction, methodology, and resources to implement competitive internal and external recruitment strategies to attract and retain key talent across DUHS.
• Proactively collaborate and lead workforce planning strategies with key stakeholders to achieve having the right talent, in the right place, at the right time to meet key business objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans that align with DUHS's growth objectives and timelines.
• Lead system-wide process improvement projects to drive effectiveness and efficiencies within the full-cycle recruitment process.
• Identify and implement, in partnership with AVP, team structure/alignments to support DUHS current and future business demand.
