Senior Director of Operations

About the role

Opportunity Edged Infrastructure has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of an innovative company that’s on a journey to transform the world’s infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior Director of Operations to join Edged Infrastructure, focusing on the daily oversight of large-scale operations and the strategic build-out of the operations team to support future project pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop an operations team capable of scaling with future mission-critical infrastructure projects; foster a safety-first and results-driven culture.
• Program Development: Establish and refine standardized corporate processes for project execution, ensuring scalability and operational excellence across the portfolio.
• Organizational Support: Work cross-functionally with our Endeavour groups to support processes around project financial management, document control, client management, and other needs.
• Project Management: Provide executive oversight for the daily execution of key projects, ensuring all milestones are met with precision.
• Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of critical infrastructure, project management, and construction practices to oversee complex infrastructure build-outs and resource allocation.
• Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary executive liaison between internal leadership and external site stakeholders to ensure operational alignment.
• Compliance and Safety: Enforce rigorous safety standards and corporate compliance across all operational activities to meet and exceed industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial operations or construction leadership.
• Experience in mission-critical environments is required.
• Proven track record of leading project development and execution, including leading large scale execution teams.

• Strong knowledge of project management, construction management, critical infrastructure, and mission-critical project needs.
• Ability to drive day-to-day operational needs, leading to consistent, on-time, on-budget execution.
• Deep understanding of organizational functions related to project delivery including finance/accounting, supply chain, engineering, quality, and O&M handoff.
• Builder: Desire to build a team and set of processes, operating within a fast-growth organization.
• Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse group of reports and colleagues – ability to lead in a dynamic environment.
