About the role
Implement and build on Repair’s Jewish educational strategy. Ensure impactful Jewish experiences for participants, staff, and lay leaders.Responsibilities
- Develop and lead innovative Jewish educational programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with educators, rabbis, and other stakeholders to enhance Jewish learning experiences
- Oversee the implementation of new strategies and projects to strengthen Repair’s impact
- Engage with diverse communities to promote Jewish values and social justice
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and funders
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of Repair’s educational offerings
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Jewish education, religious studies, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in Jewish education, preferably in a leadership role
- Experience in developing and implementing educational programs and strategies
- Strong understanding of Jewish texts and traditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for social justice and Jewish communal engagement
Qualifications
- Experience in managing and leading teams
- Knowledge of Jewish communal structures and networks
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
