Senior Director of Environmental, Health & Safety

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director of Environmental, Health & Safety to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This senior leader will shape enterprise-wide EHS strategy across a geographically dispersed industrial organization. The role will drive environmental compliance, risk management, and operational discipline while strengthening a culture of accountability. You will partner closely with executive leadership and site teams to improve performance, reduce organizational risk, and advance meaningful sustainability initiatives. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide EHS strategy and execution Advocate for environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives Develop a culture of accountability and operational discipline Drive continuous improvement using data and metrics Oversee risk management and compliance programs Foster talent development among EHS professionals Partner with senior leadership to mitigate enterprise risk Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience Significant experience supporting multi-site industrial, manufacturing, transportation, rail, energy, or field service operations Demonstrated success improving EHS performance while reducing organizational risk Experience leading teams, developing leaders, and driving organizational change Benefits High visibility and influence within the company and executive leadership Opportunity to shape meaningful environmental initiatives Backed by the stability and strength of a well-capitalized diversified organization Platform to build and strengthen EHS culture across a geographically dispersed organization Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
