Senior Director of Enablement

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director of Enablement to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will shape a company-wide enablement strategy that supports frontline teams, customer learning, and product adoption at scale. The role will be central to improving how knowledge is created, governed, measured, and delivered in an AI-enabled environment. This is a high-impact opportunity to partner across Support, Customer Success, and product-facing teams to drive better self-service experiences and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the enablement vision and strategy across multiple functions
• Lead the transformation of enablement for the AI era, optimizing production and measurement processes
• Implement a data-driven intake and prioritization process for enablement requests
• Collaborate on the company's AI self-service strategy, ensuring knowledge quality and governance
• Drive product activation and adoption through effective customer learning strategies
• Lead enablement initiatives for product launches and enterprise-wide education
• Enhance customer self-service by managing knowledge content and self-help experiences

Qualifications

• 10+ years in education or enablement, with 5+ years in leadership roles across multiple functions
• Extensive experience in learning strategy, instructional design, and training delivery across various modalities
• Proven track record in managing knowledge operations at scale, particularly for AI-powered self-service
• Deep understanding of frontline Support and Customer Success operations, including customer learning and software adoption
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools in enablement or support, with insights on their effectiveness
• Experience leading teams through significant operational changes
• Strong data literacy, with the ability to define metrics and connect enablement efforts to business outcomes

Pay

$222,000 – $355,000 annually
