Senior Director of Development, Major Gifts

Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is partnering with ZRG Aspen Leadership Group to recruit a Senior Director of Development, Major Gifts.

About the role

The Senior Director of Development, Major Gifts will lead the organization's major gifts fundraising efforts, focusing on cultivating and soliciting major donors to support Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services' mission.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and steward relationships with high net worth individuals and corporations
• Solicit major gifts from individuals and organizations
• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for donor engagement and retention
• Collaborate with other departments to align fundraising goals with organizational priorities
• Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors, including planning and executing events and campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in development, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Proven track record of successful fundraising, particularly in securing major gifts
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles and practices
• Experience with major gift prospect identification and cultivation
• Knowledge of grant writing and proposal development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
