- Establish data governance, quality, and security standards across 30+ source integrations (Yardi, RealPage, UKG, Salesforce, and others).
- Evaluate and drive adoption of AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Claude, CodeRabbit) to accelerate engineering velocity and analytics delivery.
- Present roadmap progress, risks, and organizational health to senior executive leadership.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, budgets, and resourcing decisions for the Data & Analytics function.
- Define and enforce architectural and coding standards, working closely with the Lead Data Architect to ensure long-term platform scalability.

- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical strategy for non-technical senior leadership.
- Knowledge of data architecture patterns (medallion/lakehouse), data governance frameworks, and modern BI/semantic modeling practices.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing technical teams in a rebuild/turnaround environment.
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills, particularly related to managed services and staff augmentation.
