Senior Director, LytxOne Product Management

About the role

Lytx is growing its Product Management team to help expand and improve our video telematics products and platform. The Senior Director, Product Management (LytxOne) will drive product strategy and execution for the hardware and device application software that enables the Lytx Video Telematics product suite. You will engage with customers, internal partners, and engineering teams to identify market opportunities and align product portfolio investments.

Responsibilities

• Establish the product roadmap, communicate business vision internally, and present strategic direction.
• Manage a team of product managers to deliver products and strategies supporting new products and features.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to capture requirements for future releases and gather feedback on current releases.
• Discover and validate market opportunities, analyze the competitive landscape, and make data-driven decisions.
• Understand how customers and users leverage platforms to streamline their business processes.
• Provide leadership for strategic, technical, marketing, and lifecycle management aspects of the enterprise SaaS and hardware solution.
• Determine buy/build/partner decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
• 15+ years of Product Management experience in business-to-business with a focus on hardware/firmware commercial products.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead an impactful team of product managers to deliver enterprise products and strategies.
• Strong customer orientation and proven experience building products that meet customer needs and goals.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle process and methodologies.
• Effective at using data-driven decision-making to influence others in a collaborative team.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Product management experience for cellular-enabled IoT and telematics devices (hardware and firmware).

Pay

Salary is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary range for this position is $215,500.00 - $272,500.00.
