About the role
F2G is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapies for invasive fungal infections. Our lead candidate, olorofim, is a novel antifungal agent targeting fungal dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH).
Responsibilities
- Ensures high quality access aligned to the olorofim clinical program, allowing appropriate patients to access and continue olorofim therapy.
- Hires, trains, and develops the Corporate Account Director (CAD) team with responsibility for key targeted IDN's, hospitals, national and regional commercial payers, and providers.
- Works closely with the CAD team on account management and analysis to attain key objectives for olorofim.
- Supports direct reports with expert level efficiency to ensure optimal pull-through effectiveness for all contracting efforts as well as patient support and access programs including effectiveness for all contracting efforts as well as patient support and access programs HUB, distribution, co-pay support, PAP, and other access program offerings.
- Builds, sustains, and continuously improves the organization’s perception in the IDN, hospital and payer environments (federal, state, and commercial) by delivering compelling presentations about F2G and olorofim.
- Develops strong individual and team-wide account relationships at all levels, including with C-Suite executives, for the purpose of gaining appropriate access and maximizing sales of F2G’s current product and pipeline products.
- Works closely with the VP, Market Access to develop and implement the department’s strategic imperatives, brand planning and pull-through, case management and cross functional collaboration that supports organizational goals through defined tactics and objectives to move payer decisions in a direction that continues to open access for the appropriate patients.
- Demonstrated knowledge of payer decision making for policy, coverage, coding, and patient access to existing and future F2G products.
- Expert level understanding of the reimbursement process and Specialty Pharmacy dynamics throughout the USA.
- Advocacy development with KOLs, families, and advocacy groups at the local, regional, and national levels to lobby for appropriate access and remove unreasonable barriers to treatment.
- Removes access barriers and makes appropriate recommendations to senior leadership teams within all key accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Affirms the competitive market landscape and opportunities for improved or expanded product access and adoption.
- Compliantly leads case-management responsibilities with a high level of communication and coordination with all relevant field-based personnel that directly impacts patients gaining access to therapy.
- Instil a culture of ethics and integrity and sets up a system that ensures compliance with all applicable policies and regulations for the company and the department.
- Maintains industry awareness regarding market trends, competition, product acceptance, and new product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, marketing or a related technical field.
- Experience working in the Rare Disease sector is highly preferred.
- 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience in sales, management, marketing, managed care or other relevant commercial functions.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing CAD teams.
- Ability to influence through the articulation of complex medical, managed care and financial concepts to various audiences.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Proven and experienced leader with extensive strategic, tactical planning, execution and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker who can connect the dots across functions and find practical solutions.
- Executive presence; able to effectively represent F2G internally and externally.
- Entrepreneurial, decisive, and have the tenacity to “make things happen.”
- A penchant for the science; ability to translate complex science into meaningful messaging.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually.
Schedule
