About the RoleAt Rose BioSolutions, our capabilities span foundational research with human immune cells and stem cells to the complete advanced therapy manufacturing continuum. We are an established operation with a world-class team of experts, and we apply our R.O.S.E standard to every program and relationship: Reliable, Outcome driven, Scalable, and Excellent! The Senior Director, IT Transformation Office owns the end-to-end delivery of that separation and the transformation that follows. This leader runs the IT Transformation Office (ITO), the single integrated office through which every IT separation and build workstream is planned, governed, sequenced, and reported. That includes SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Salesforce, UKG, Ironclad, QMS, LIMS, back-office and site applications, data migration and archiving, infrastructure and cybersecurity build, and exit from every IT service under the Transition Service Agreement (TSA) with the former parent company. Why Rose BioSolutionsAt Rose, you are not just another layer in a large organization—you are a key contributor in a nimble, high-impact team. We offer:Direct exposure to diverse and complex client projects across multiple modalities.A collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment where ideas are heard and acted upon.Opportunities to grow your technical expertise and take ownership of your work.Close interaction with leadership and clients, enabling real influence on project outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesIT Transformation Office Leadership• Lead the existing IT Transformation Office as the single source of truth for all IT separation, build, and transformation work, strengthening its operating cadence, decision rights, and escalation paths• Own the integrated master technology cutover plan across applications, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and site readiness, with one critical path and one set of technology dependencies rather than parallel plans per vendor; this plan feeds, but is separate from, the overall business separation plan and the company-wide TSA plan• Represent IT in the enterprise Transformation Management Office, aligning with Finance, HR, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations separation workstreams• Report program status, risk, budget, and decisions required to the CIO, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders, with objective, traffic-light reporting and clear options when things go off track IT TSA Management and Exit• Own the IT TSA exit plan end to end: a target exit date, exit criteria, and accountable owner for every IT service Rose Bio still receives from the former parent company• Distinguish IT continuation services from one-time IT transition assistance (data extracts, knowledge transfer, decommissioning support) and make sure both are captured, costed, and tracked• Sequence IT TSA exits against their real interdependencies, for example SAP cutover before the ERP hosting and support TSA exit, identity and network before application cutovers• Manage IT TSA governance with the former parent company, including monthly IT service and invoice reviews, SLA issues, and the formal extension process• Track IT TSA costs against the deal model and drive every avoidable extension to zero; where an extension is unavoidable, bring a priced, time-bound recommendation to the CIO• Secure knowledge transfer from the former parent company's IT subject-matter experts before access to them ends Parent Company Liaison and RAID Management• Serve as Rose Bio's primary IT counterpart to the former parent company's IT and separation leadership for all outstanding issues, service requests, and open items• Own the IT RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) across all workstreams, including items that sit with the former parent company, with a named owner, due date, and mitigation for every entry• Run a standing issue-resolution cadence with the former parent company: triage new requests, chase aging items, and escalate through the joint governance forum when items stall• Understand the former parent company's IT landscape well enough to ask the right questions: which shared systems, instances, interfaces, licenses, and data stores Rose Bio still depends on, and what it takes to untangle each• Manage requests to the former parent company for data extracts, access changes, environment copies, license transfers, and third-party contract assignments, and track each to closure• Maintain a constructive, professional working relationship with the former parent company while firmly protecting Rose Bio's timeline, data, and interests Application Separation and Build• Track the separation and stand-up of Rose Bio's application portfolio against the disposition for every in-scope application (clone, migrate, replace, retire) set by the Application Architect• Monitor progress of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, delivered by the SAP integrator, across fit-to-standard design, data migration cycles, integration testing, and cutover, flagging schedule, quality, and dependency risks early• Monitor progress of the GxP quality and lab system workstreams (QMS, LIMS, and related systems such as document management, training/LMS, and electronic batch records where in scope), delivered by their implementation partners, including validation milestones and readiness for cutover• Monitor progress of the commercial and back-office platform workstreams: Salesforce CRM, UKG HRIS/payroll, Ironclad CLM, finance and procurement tools, collaboration, and site-specific applications• Make sure integration and middleware work is sequenced so dependent systems go live in a coherent order, not whenever each vendor is ready Infrastructure, Security, and Site Readiness• Integrate the infrastructure build (network, identity, end-user computing, cloud, MSP/MSSP onboarding) into the master technology cutover plan, partnering with the Director of Infrastructure, who owns design and delivery• Track the "foundational" dependencies that gate everything else: domain and identity separation, email and collaboration migration, network cutover, endpoint re-imaging, and security tooling coverage• Coordinate site-by-site readiness and cutover across Rockville, Memphis, Northridge, and Keele, including lab and manufacturing-adjacent (OT) systems, so no site loses the ability to test, release, or ship GxP, Validation, and Compliance• Build validation into the master technology cutover plan from day one, partnering with Quality so that CSV/CSA deliverables, Part 11 controls, and QA approvals are scheduled as critical-path activities, not afterthoughts• Run the go/no-go process for every GxP cutover, with defined entry and exit criteria, rollback plans, and hypercare• Support SOC 2 and client IT-attestation requirements as they intersect with program timing Integrators, Consultants, and Cost Envelope• Organize and direct the system integrators, consultants, and contractors working across the program (SAP, QMS/LIMS, Salesforce, UKG, infrastructure, and others) so they operate as one team under one plan, cadence, and set of standards• Define clear roles and handoffs between partners, Rose Bio staff, and the former parent company, and hold integrators and consultants accountable for scope, schedule, quality, and cost, working with the CIO, who owns the commercial relationships• Coordinate multiple SIs, consultants, the MSP/MSSP, and the former parent company's IT teams working in parallel, resolving conflicts in environments, resources, and cutover windows• Own the IT separation cost envelope agreed with the CIO, CFO, and other key stakeholders, covering one-time separation costs, TSA fees, integrator and consultant spend, and run-rate stand-up costs• Manage spend within the envelope through monthly forecast-to-complete, variance reporting, contingency management, and formal change control for any scope or cost change• Surface envelope risks early with options (re-sequence, de-scope, or request funding) rather than reporting overruns after the fact• Track value realization against the investment case: TSA cost avoided, standalone IT run-rate, and benefits from new capabilities Beyond Separation: Transformation Roadmap• Transition the ITO from separation to a standing transformation office once TSA exit is complete• Maintain a rolling, multi-phase roadmap of enhancement initiatives across ERP, CRM, HRIS,quality and lab systems, data and analytics, and AI/automation, sequenced to business priorities set by the CIO• Manage a portfolio of AI programs end to end, including SAP Joule and Salesforce Agentforce use cases, applying the same program discipline as other workstreams: confirming that required environments, platforms, data access, and security approvals are in place on schedule, coordinating with Infrastructure, the Application Architect, and vendors who own delivery, andmoving use cases from pilot to scaled deployment with appropriate GxP and data governance gates People Leadership• Lead, develop, and retain a team of program leaders, and scale with contractors for peak demand without losing continuity• Build a culture of candor: bad news travels fast, risks are raised early, and decisions are documented QualificationsRequired• 12+ years in IT program, portfolio, or transformation leadership, including at least 5 years leading complex, multi-workstream programs• Direct, senior-level experience leading at least one end-to-end IT carve-out, divestiture, or spinoff from signing through final TSA exit, ideally on the NewCo side building a standalone company• Hands-on experience running IT TSAs: governing them with the seller, managing costs and extensions, and exiting on schedule• Demonstrated ownership of RAID management on large programs, including driving risks and issues to closure rather than only logging them• Experience working directly with a parent or seller company's IT organization to resolve outstanding issues and requests, with enough IT depth to understand shared systems, entanglements, and what the parent company needs to deliver• Program leadership of an SAP S/4HANA implementation; SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (or another multi-tenant SaaS ERP with vendor-controlled release cycles) strongly preferred• Working knowledge of GxP quality and lab systems (QMS and LIMS such as Veeva, MasterControl, LabWare, LabVantage, or equivalent) and how they are separated, validated, and cut over without disrupting GMP operations• Solid understanding of CSV/CSA, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11, and experience partnering with Quality to embed validation into program plans• Practical grasp of back-office platforms and their separation patterns, including CRM (Salesforce), HRIS/payroll (UKG or comparable), CLM, finance, and procurement• Enough infrastructure fluency to plan and challenge identity, network, email, endpoint, cloud, and MSP transitions, and to recognize when infrastructure is the true critical path• Data migration leadership experience, including master data governance, mock cutovers, reconciliation, and archiving of regulated records• Track record of organizing and directing multiple system integrators, consultants, and vendors in parallel, and of delivering complex programs within a fixed cost envelope using disciplined forecasting and change control• Executive presence and experience reporting to C-level and board or private equity stakeholders, with clear, objective, decision-oriented communication• Proven people leader who has built and developed program teams, not only managed tasks• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Preferred• Experience in a CDMO, biotech, pharma, or other regulated manufacturing environment, especially cell and gene therapy• Multi-country separation experience, including UK or EU entities and UK GDPR considerations• Experience in a private equity-backed company during the first 12–24 months after close• Background leading the transition from a separation office to a standing transformation office• Exposure to AI and automation programs in enterprise applications and how to govern them in a GxP setting• PMP, PgMP, MSP, SAFe, or similar certification; SAP Activate familiarity COMPENSATION DATA:The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 per year.
