About the role
The Senior Director, ISO is responsible for overseeing the organization's Information Security Operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures
- Manage the organization’s incident response team and ensure timely resolution of security incidents
- Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and vendors
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on security initiatives and goals
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory changes impacting information security
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security management
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Experience with ISO standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
