Senior Director Integrated Supply Chain
Job Summary
The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology, and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world. We are seeking a Senior Director of Integrated Supply Chain to lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and demand planning across the Menomonee Falls, WI organization.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies focused on buying, planning, and inventory optimization
- Align procurement and planning functions with corporate growth, cost, and operational goals
- Lead transformation initiatives to modernize supply chain processes and systems
- Establish sourcing strategies for critical components, including long-lead and high-spec naval materials
- Negotiate complex contracts with key suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness and risk mitigation
- Drive supplier performance management, including quality, delivery, and compliance
- Ensure accurate demand forecasting and supply planning across multiple programs
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels and program readiness
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and program management to align supply with project timelines
- Implement KPIs and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and planning functions
- Leverage digital tools (ERP, APS systems) to enhance visibility and decision-making
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including senior leadership roles
- Strong background in procurement, buying, and capacity planning
- Experience in defense, naval, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of CPSR, DFAR/FAR compliance, and documentation for DoD contractors
- Proven success leading S&OP/IBP processes
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
