About the role
At Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, you’ll partner with senior commercial leadership to shape and execute people strategies that support a large commercial business across USCAN. Through strategic leadership of organization design, talent development, succession planning, engagement, and culture initiatives, this role enables sustainable revenue growth, drives organizational effectiveness, and positions the business for long-term competitive success. The position reports to the VP, Human Resources – Operations and is based onsite in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to M5 commercial leaders, shaping business strategy, organizational capability, operating models, and talent decisions that accelerate growth and strengthen competitive advantage.
- Own the end-to-end talent strategy for the commercial organization, driving talent reviews, succession planning, leadership pipelines, and development actions to ensure a strong bench of ready-now leaders.
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and sales force capability initiatives to maintain agility in a rapidly evolving market.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by applying Danaher Business System (DBS) principles, disciplined problem-solving, and talent-centric Kaizen approaches.
- Act as a visible leader across critical business mechanisms, including GSA PD, PD4PD, Growth Rooms, Talent Action Reviews, SCRs, Forecast Reviews, and Budget Planning.
- Serve as a trusted coach and advisor to senior leaders, providing candid counsel to improve leadership effectiveness and organizational health.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably supporting a sales organization.
- Business-first HR mindset with the ability to translate commercial strategy into talent and organizational outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority while building trusted relationships globally.
- Experience identifying, developing, and deploying leadership talent through rigorous assessment and coaching.
- Strong organizational architect skills, comfortable leading complex organization design and change initiatives.
- Highly credible executive communicator, capable of facilitating high-stakes discussions and representing HR in commercial forums.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel 40%.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $230,000–$280,000, plus incentive pay.
