About the role

The Vertical Group Leader will drive the Home & Hardware business across the USA. This role is responsible for the full go-to-market (GTM) strategy and commercial performance of the vertical, with direct ownership of wholesale performance across Specialty and Strategic (National / Key / Regional) Accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial growth plan for the Home & Hardware vertical, including revenue, margin, and sell-through goals across Specialty and Strategic (National / Key / Regional) wholesale channels.
  • Set the commercial strategy for the Home & Hardware vertical, grounded in consumer behaviors across in-home rituals, entertaining, beverage occasions, gifting, and on-the-go travel.
  • Partner closely with Finance and Demand Planning to build and manage annual, quarterly, and weekly operating plans; adjust strategy quickly to drive performance.
  • Translate consumer insight into clear decisions on product focus, channel priorities, and marketing direction.
  • Provide strong voice-of-consumer input into product roadmaps, launch timing, and seasonal priorities in partnership with Product Management.
  • Own the seasonal GTM plan for the vertical, including line plans, product journeys, and wholesale channel assortments.
  • Align assortments and storytelling across Specialty, Strategic/National Accounts, and regional wholesale partners.
  • Work closely with Corporate Sales and DTC leaders to ensure vertical priorities and assortments are reflected appropriately within those channels.
  • Define must-win channels and accounts and guide how YETI wins in each.
  • Represent the Home & Hardware vertical internally and externally with key partners.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for vertical strategy and GTM execution, coordinating across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Consumer Insights.
  • Prioritize and partner closely with Demand & Business Planning, Finance, Product Management, Global Marketing, Digital Commerce, Retail, and Supply Chain & Operations.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in premium consumer brands, lifestyle, hardware or adjacent categories.

8+ years leading cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams.

Proven ability to translate consumer insight into profitable growth across wholesale channels.

Strong experience shaping channel strategy and working closely with key retail partners.

Comfort operating within annual, quarterly, and weekly business rhythms in partnership with Finance and Planning.

Clear, confident communicator with the ability to influence across functions and levels.

Qualifications
