About the role

Elevate is seeking a high-performing sales executive to focus on the sale of marquee partnership assets, including but not limited to stadium naming rights, jersey and patch partnerships, league partnerships, and other high-value partnerships for prestigious sports and entertainment properties across the globe. The Senior Director will secure meetings with prospects directly on a weekly basis, collaborate with internal stakeholders, leverage strategic resources to advance partnership discussions, and ultimately close seven-figure annual partnership deals. This role reports to the Vice President or Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans, clearly articulating why a brand is a fit for a specific Elevate client.
  • Secure meetings with high-level decision makers (VP, President, C-Suite) through email, LinkedIn, networking, calls, and other strategic outreach.
  • Facilitate internal communication to create brand briefs, coordinate prep sessions, report action steps in CRM, and collaborate with other Elevate divisions to assist in closing business.
  • Conduct initial fact-finding meetings to obtain all necessary information to further qualify leads for direct alignment with specific Elevate clients.
  • Actively contribute innovative thinking and fresh ideas that help lead to new revenue-generating marketing platforms aligned with prospective partner objectives.
  • Move opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presentation to negotiation and close.
  • Maintain a strong and active pipeline of prospects for assigned clients to reach or exceed partnership revenue goals.
  • Work collaboratively with a strategy/solutions team to develop customized sales proposals and presentations.
  • Continuously network and build relationships with decision makers and influencers at major brands, agencies, teams, and others within the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with partnership teammates and Elevate clients to drive collaboration and long-term success.
  • Cultivate relationships across all Elevate divisions, with a clear understanding of each team’s capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate the full range of services available to the marketplace.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and remain flexible as priorities evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7–10 years of direct sales experience.
  • Proven track record of securing meetings with high-level decision makers.
  • Network of relationships with brands.
  • Experience in presenting and closing long-term integrated partnerships valued in the low seven figures annually.
  • Effective use of different resources to research, prospect, and connect with prospective clients.

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop strong working relationships with prospects, clients, teammates, and other stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides, CRM systems, and LinkedIn.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Desire to grow and improve each day through experiences and feedback.

Schedule

Full-time, exempt.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel onsite via plane, train, or car to attend prospect or client meetings.
  • On-site in Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; or Nashville, TN office.
  • Occasional off-peak work during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
