About the role

The Senior Director, Global Design, Construction & Workplace Sustainability oversees the entire lifecycle of capital projects, aligns the real estate portfolio with business goals, manages global expansion and optimization efforts, mitigates project risks, and ensures that the Real Estate & Workplace activities support overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Global Capital Project Leadership: End-to-End Delivery, Strategic Roadmapping, Risk Mitigation, Track Upcoming Needs, Develop Look Ahead Report, Partner with Real Estate Portfolio & Strategy Team, Lead Design & Project Management Team, Provide Status Reports.

  • Financial Stewardship & Capital Budgeting: CapEx Management, Value Engineering, Vendor Management, Schedule & Budget Development, Identify Efficiency Improvements, Provide Cost & Timeline Reports, Reduce Facilities Costs.

  • Innovative Global Design & Experience: Experience-Led Design, Workplace Innovation, Brand Consistency, Environmental Impact, Accreditation Leadership, Health & Humanity.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 15+ years in global real estate, construction management, or workplace design, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership capacity.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

  • Credentials: Must hold LEED AP and WELL AP credentials.

  • Financial Acumen: Proven track record of managing $100M+ global capital budgets, financial analysis experience, and familiarity with accounting and financial concepts of real estate, capital projects, and operations expenses.

  • Other Qualifications: Global mindset, experience navigating international construction laws, labor markets, and design standards, proven ability to inspire cross-functional teams, experience with global projects, especially in Asia Pacific Japan and EMEA, administrative ability, technical background, project responsibility experience, thorough understanding of industry standards, strong team leadership, strong proficiency with project management tools and technology, strong internal and client relationship management, excellent communication skills.

Pay

$297,500.00 - $350,000.00
