Senior Director, Global Category Management

Location: Holtsville, NY – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $202,560 – $303,840 annually.

Responsibilities

• Architect the global sourcing strategies for Semiconductors, Electrical, and Mechanical components
• Lead procurement's involvement in New Product Development from concept to execution
• Manage strategic relationships within the supplier ecosystem to align with manufacturing goals
• Serve as an advisor to the leadership team, ensuring procurement aligns with product and financial strategies
• Utilize market intelligence to navigate supply chain dynamics and mitigate risks
• Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering strategic thinking and accountability
• Innovate contract processes to enhance supplier performance and organizational efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 20+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, particularly in technology or electronics
• Minimum of 10 years of people management experience with a focus on developing senior-level talent
• Deep understanding of Semiconductor, Electrical, and Mechanical markets and strategic supplier management
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to influence executive leadership
